Sometimes I like to take a photograph and manipulate it in the computer with the end result of an image that feels like a painting: water color, oil brush, charcoal drawing or a mix of all three. My artistic eye is the controlling factor. Most of the time it is just a small adjustment but other times can be full-blown impressionistic image. Cranes -181 is a good example of the extreme photo manipulation. Mike Foley
